In November 2008, Ryan Powell originally founded RYACOM Consulting, LLC, as a side business. At the time, Ryan was working full-time as a Network Administrator for a medium-sized textile manufacturing facility near his home. In June 2011, he began working for a consulting firm based in Quantico, VA, as a senior engineer. This role gave him the unique opportunity to have hands on experience with different types of hardware, software, and networks as he traveled to various businesses in northern Virginia and the tidewater areas. It also introduced him to his next employer, a global recruiting firm specializing in the security sector for Fortune 500 companies. He took the title of Manager of Technology and Information in October 2012 and continued expanding his expertise with this company until July 31, 2016. Since then, Ryan has taken on his previous employer as a client and has been focusing solely on RYACOM Consulting, LLC.
